Bringing an old thread back to life!!!

Some parts laying around that I cant use and dont need. What I do need though, is $money$ so someone buy this stuff:yup:
Don't want to ship any of this if at all possible. Can drive to meet people, just let me know.

*Set of brand new, never installed, Trickflow Aluminum Tall Style Valve Covers: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFS-31500802/
Ive lost my camera some how so I dont have pics at the moment.
These pics of other items are from last fall I think, they have been on my facebook page.
They have only been out of the box a few times, NEVER INSTALLED. Was gonna use them on my lt1 with centerbolt adapters but the adapters wont clear wide body roller rockers.
$70 for those.

*Also have adapters for centerbolt heads, also never used. Wouldnt clear my roller rockers so thats why none of this stuff has ever been used.
I'd like $35 for the adapters.

**4L60E TRANSMISSION IS SOLD.

I have a RAM Billet Aluminum flywheel for lt1, possibly all SBC. 153tooth, 18lbs.
Has weights in it, for an external balance setup or stock lt1 setup (which is external balance at rear).
Only has maybe 300 miles on it. Needed a 0-balance flywheel, didnt pay attention and had a buddy install it only to find out later on it was the wrong flywheel. Once again, i was young and dumb at the time.PRICE AND SPECS HERE -> http://www.jegs.com/i/Ram-Clutches/798/2554/10002/-1?parentProductId=751484

Price=$235. Very pricey new. Recommend re-surface just because it does have some use. Its been sitting also, tiny surface rust on the steel friction portion of the flywheel. Probably wouldnt hurt it at all, but thats what a re-surface is for.

*Have a stock lt1 flywheel around some place, $20 its yours.

*Stock LT1 Flexplate for automatic cars (has weight on it) $20

*Transmission Crossmember for Automatic Camaro/Firebird. Good shape. $25-if you really want I do have a pic. Just too lazy to load it right now.

*Also have some misc parts, automatic shifter assembly from 94 z28 camaro/firebired. No sensor or anything just the shifter its self, bracket and ratchet looking thing=$25

*Have center console for lt1 era camaro, latch on lid is broke (all of mine have broke no matter how easy iam on it lol) The bowtie emblem is painted bright red =$40

Set of LT1 Aluminum Reverse-Cooled heads from a 1994 Camaro Z28
Would like $230 for these. The early castings were supposed to be better for porting, but I dunno how early exactly. Either way, these can be sent out to various places and be made into very very competitive heads.
Engine originaly blew a head gasket-which explains some of the clean combustion chambers:thumbsup:

Casting number looks like 241 on the last pic.

**I have other stuff also but didnt feel like listing it. Have LT1 Exhaust Manifolds (good for dirt track guys that need stock manifolds), Radiators from 1994 Camaros, AC Systems, Compressor, Condenser, etc. ANY INTEREST IN THIS STUFF LET ME KNOW ILL POST PICS AND PRICES.

How many miles on the 4l60e? Any problems?

When the pump and all that were replaced on the 4l60e I'd guess the car had around 120 to 125k miles on it, drove it for a maybe 10-15k more miles before swapping to a six speed. I need to dig up the paper work or ask the shop that did the work on the tranny (boley enterprises-marietta ohio) and find out for sure, but i dont think it was a full rebuild with clutches and everything but I could be wrong.
Iam guessing it might have been rebuilt before I got ahold of it at 118k miles, because of the converter having a "GM Reman" sticker on it. Unless, for some reason the converter boogered up by its self and didnt hurt the tranny.

Only problems were it not upshifting at WOT after the rear gear swap to 4:10's. I had a little thing under the dash made by JET that had dials on it that I could turn to trick the computer into making it shift at WOT. Whenever i'd do that it, shifted solid without any type of shutter or anything. The only draw back is whenever I would do that, the speedo would read 30-40mph fast:eek2:

Unfortunetly I could never figure out a 'happy medium' setting on that thing, so i had a piece of paper with the dial settings wrote down for correct speedo reading and normal driving and another for WOT shifts and crazy speedo lol.
I was young, dumb, and tried everything to get away from tuning the PCM. I used it like that untill the swap. Only times I ran it hard would be off and on on the weekends (i know you know what im talking about here:wink2: ) other than that I drove her pretty easy.

Also, im going to try to find another pan for it, there is a small hole in it from where someone drilled it to drain tranny fluid during the swap:grumble: (wasnt me) I might be able to snag one cheap/free from my old work (trans shop).
So all in all iam not 100% sure of the miles on it, i just wrote down what I know. If I had the know-how, i'd tear it down and check it out to see how everything looked but if you've ever seen a auto tranny apart you'll understand why I havent tried lol. Might not be a bad idea to check it out before installation, not sure if sitting for a few years would hurt anything on an automatic or not???? Iam pretty brain dead when it comes to autos, dunno sh!t about them and dont want to :-(

You might not care about all that misc stuff I wrote, but like i said, i wanna be as descriptive as possible. I was planning on holding onto this tranny and maybe trading for a non-electronic version or using it in a future project, but space and $$ are tight at the moment and I need to get my green Z going for the summer:P:

P.S. your welcome Zach-i asked channing to pick it out since she is a chick and all, i figured she'd know what would look cool lol
