Yes its true I am selling my car and am looking to get a newer body style. Will consider partial trades on newer body style. If your interested send me a pm. Parts list is way too long to list so if your interested we can set up a time and you can come check it out. Havent added up parts in awhile but am sure there's over 10,000 in parts receipts alone:thumbsup:

Does'nt really matter, Just want a newer body style or something oriented towards your car in particular...I really dont like selling it as there's no way I'll even come close to getting out of it what I have in it...I just sold a 95 that was the wifes and really should have kept it but oh well whata do?...Would prefer a stick car...

Is your car an original 5.0 or is it a 4cyl. conversion. Is most of the factory wiring intact?

No, sure don`t. The car just caught my eye while I was surfing on Craigs list. Mileage is a little on the high side, but the price is right for a cobra. Wouldn`t take much to put the 03-04 blower set up on it.

You just need to see it...Its a very clean job and yes its an original 93 lx 5.0 Original Calypso green....No heat or ac but all accesories in car work. Heater core is still there and can be hooked up..Wipers ect...All works...Dont have fuel level gage as its a cell but its a 15 gal cell so i dont think anyone's gona run it outa fuel...

If you don`t have much luck around here, ebay would be an option. I`ll warn you now though, from what I`ve seen in the past they`re worth more in parts than they are whole. Most have money to spend on parts, but not many have 10K laying around to buy a whole car.

I talked to a friend not that long ago. He had a coupe with a 408 windsor, tremec tranny, and a built rear. He tried to sell it for as low as 7k. Couldn`t generate interest. He parted it out and made 13k.

Depending on price, I'd like to pick up a cobra...Still need to sell mine first... I found this one on e-bay thats almost identical to mine thats being sold as a rolling chass...Going to watch it go off and make a decision...May actually part it out, depends on what this one goes off for?

Dont know about e-bay fee's? Trie checking into it last night but du know? Im gona look into more today...Anybody know how the fees work on e-bay for selling a car? %?
badcoupe50
01-03-2010, 12:41 PM
They take a percentage of the final sale price plus listing fees. I`m not sure how much anymore, though. If the buyer uses paypal, paypal also takes a percentage. Try listing it on the corral or on columbus craigslist. I wouldn`t bother listing on local craigslist, because it seems that most prospective buyers are already on this site. You may try the bulletin board too.
dy85merc
01-03-2010, 01:48 PM
Yeah, the bulletin board is a good idea. But you really need to list it nationally...if you want a faster sale.

I bet that car don't go for more than 3,500.00 and doesn't go past the reserve price.

It's more closer to street than pro drag? You could drive this car where ever you wanted? The heater core's even still there so it could be hooked up...

I'd list the car on autotrader.com before I went to ebay. On Ebay, I think the best way is to do a "buy it now or best offer" instead of the auction. I bet about 10% of the time on ebay someone will end your auction by hitting the buy it now and say they didn't realize they made a committment to buy the car. It is a hassle. Go with Autotrader first. I've always had good luck there. The last time I used it, it cost $39 for 8 weeks (I think) or $59 till it sells. Research what is already on there before you list it.
